National Prepare to Buy a Home Month
When buying a home it is better to begin by looking at your situation instead of jumping right into looking at available homes. Buying a home is often the single biggest expense/investment we make during our lifetimes. It’s good to have a strategy, for example, you might write down information concerning what kind of home you want and the needs it must meet. You might also look at what types of mortgages are available. This display includes several books to help you make an informed home-buyingdecision.
National Stroke Awareness Month
This month is used to educate the nation and spread awareness about stroke prevention, symptom recognitions and recovery. According to the National Stroke Association in recent years the number of stroke victims has declined by several
thousand annually. With education and awareness you may be able to “Save a Life”. Our display identifies resources that may help you recognize and react to the signs of a stroke.
National Physical Fitness and Sports Month
National physical fitness and sports month is used to promote, encourage, and motivate Americans of all ages to become physically active and participate in sports. It is also a great time to get your child more physically active and interested in sports, both to help combat childhood obesity and to simply keep your child more fit and healthy. Our display has some ideas on how to become more physically active.
