National Mentoring Month
This January marks the 8th annual National Mentoring Month. On this display you will find information about different organizations and how to become a mentor. The purpose for mentoring month is to help people become aware on how important it is to become a mentor and how organizations can recruit mentors.
National Poverty in America Awareness Month 2008
There are approximately 37 million Americans living in poverty today. Our display is designed to raise awareness about the problem and efforts to break the cycle of poverty.
What’s your New Year’s Hobby?
This display has books on different subjects about things you may want to start for the New Year. You may want to start taking an art class or maybe you want to start a coin collection whatever your new hobby will be come by our library and take a look at the collection of books that will direct you into your interests.

January is an opportunity to streamline your life, create more time, lower your stress, and increase your profit. The display identifies resources for accomplishing some of these goals.
Elvis Presley’s Birthday
Come take a look at our display in commemoration of Elvis Presley’s birthday (January 8, 1935). It includes biographical information, pictures, and cd’s of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
