The Library welcomes volunteers and program workers from a myriad of resources including workforce, AARP, work study and
traditional community service volunteers.

Summer Reading Sponsorships
Each year the library solicits donations from the local community and parlays these contributions into incentives within our annual Summer Reading Program. These incentives make a real difference and truly motivate kids to read. Material and monetary donations are welcome.

Book Memorials
If you are looking for a way to memorialize a special person in your life or if you want to leave something behind, the library is happy to celebrate them thru a book memorial.

Begun through a bequest from Marion Booth, the Marion Booth Endowment sponsors projects which are new and innovative. The Endowment is administered through the Library Board and only interest from contributions has been used to sponsor projects. The goal of the Endowment is to provide long term funding for imaginative projects.

Did you know our popular after school chess program was started by a community member who simply walked in and told us that he'd like to help kids learn chess? It was and we would like to invite anyone interested in creating programs or fostering community to do something similar.
